First day I got outside of work, Sunday August 22nd. How many days have I been here? I took a half day off which in Olympic NBC term is 12 hours rather then the normal 16 hours. Which makes me very tired right now after walking around for 6 hours then being at work for 12...

My trip started in the Monastiraki flee market which happens every Sunday, then I made my way up to the Acropolis. They say pictures say a thousand words... Well 1000 words cannot describe this place so I wont even try... After that I went down to the Plaka and just when site seeing. I found Brettos Liquor store which is suppose to have the best ouzo out there from what I've read and they make it them selves. The lady working gave me a sample straight from one of the wooden barrels. I then wonder onto the The Parliament Building in Syntagma Square.

By this time I was sick of taking pictures and being a tourist so just started capturing the moments... I walked though the National Gardens where I came across an Evzone guards and had to take a few pics...
